Welcome
to my website, devoted to Corsica and a long-held dream to cycle around
(as much as is physically possible in the time given) this beautiful island.
The aim of this site is, I hope, to
offer you a glimpse of some of the places, people and sights encountered
during my 3-week stay and to share with you my experiences during this
truly fantastic journey around Corsica.
My journey began in
Bastia on May 6th 2007, seven weeks ahead of my fiftieth birthday.

My journey of a lifetime and half a
century are behind me now. One passed quickly, the other quicker still!
However the task of uploading the
photographs and my daily journal is progressing very slowly indeed. I've decided
to start with the photos and upload a few at a time. So...if you click on 'The
Pictures' button down the left-hand column you will see the first 60 shots.
(Plus a few broken links, I'm sure, as I'm building the page 'on the hoof' so to speak.)
I will try to update my website 'as soon
as possible', but unfortunately work and other factors are conspiring against
me! Day #1, #2, #3 of my journey are complete and I shall
leave the other predicted days' route in situ until such time as these too can be
amended. I hope to upload day #4 soon.
